Warning to those who use Teaching Textbooks: If you use Teaching Textbooks for math stop after Algebra 2. All their Algebra and, Pre-algebra, and Geometry books are fine, but they flunked on their Pre-calculus book. I was struggling with Pre-calc, and my mom decided to see if there were any errors in the book. We printed off five pages full of errors. (One of them was: Lesson 35, page 331, last line. Change "the pair (630,85)" to " the pair (85,630).") We also found out that I wasn't the only one who was really struggling. We found out that one kid, whose mother posted online, had a good high B/ low A average through the other books, but on his fourth test for Pre-calc he got a 73%. That's almost exactly what happened to me, but mine happened a little later. So I would not recommend Teaching Textbooks Pre-calculus.

The UN Convention On The Rights Of The Child threatens the freedom of parents to homeschool, and anyone else teaching children. Go to Parentalrights.org and read how this international treaty will threaten American freedom at its very core; the family. And check out what you can do to stop CRC, and help preserve your freedom.

No, we just got them. We haven't done them yet.

What were the results? Last year I got 99 percentile, (which is 100%) and the year before I either got 98 or 99 percentile.

Saxon is awful! The only good thing is that my standardized math scores (CAT and SAT) are a lot higher than they use to be. :P

Oh, sorry I didn't see this till now, Hannah! :P I got 99 percentile for the third time in a row this year :) I only get in the 70s or 80s for math usually (because they do math that's completely different than what I'm learning at the time, and I always forget fraction and decimal stuff :P), but I make up for that with perfect or near-perfect scores in spelling, grammar, comprehension, etc. ;)
