Purty good. How're ya? We're goin' to a square dance today and we made my younger sister's birthday cheesecake for her birthday party tomorrow :)

Yes. The square dance is a fundraiser for our neighbors whose house burned down. Thankfully, our neighbors our very well known in the community and the funraiser will probably be crowded.

Yes. Thankfully they had "happened" to have bought a house a few months before the fire and were in the process of remodeling it before they moved into it. So they don't really have to worry about a house. No one died (except a dog and cat) and they are Christains. It is really amazing how everything worked out. The only person at home was the 17-year-old son and he put something in the oven and went out to do the barn chores. So he didn't even have to worry about getting out.
