EDIT: I just looked it up xP
ServantOfTheKing
lol, very funny. =)
Ah, so close! :) In my version He calls it that great city.
Where was Jonah found sleeping?
2 Corinthians 5:17
Yes, I looked it up and in KJV it's "that great city". tucks it into my memory :)
In the bottom of the ship?
(I'm planning on memorizing the book, so hopefully I'll be able to answer these questions better… ;-)
ServantOfTheKing
:)
Right!
What chapter includes a verse which parallels Psalms 145:8-9?

Margaret Eddy
Where in Ezra 2-3 mentions prophets?
Emily H
^^ my question too.
Margaret Eddy
I suspect that they meant Ezekiel. Should I write a poem to them demanding why we need to know the genealogy of all the people who weren't allowed to have a genealogy, and how on earth we are supposed to deduce things about prophets from that?
Yet another reason why they should hire me full-time as a critic.
Emily H
Indeed you should.
When they hire you, will you please add at least one more line to all their answer blanks…
Jedidiah Diligence Breckinridge III
Indeed you should. When they hire you, will you please add at least one more line to all their answer blanks...
MORE lines??!! There are always too many. Saying that Jonah's father is named "Amittai" just doesn't take up more than one line.
Emily H
Yeah…they put five lines so you can say "The Lord" and one line to write all you learn about Jonah in chapter 1. :P
Jedidiah Diligence Breckinridge III
ikr? it's pretty funny.
Margaret Eddy
Q: Why did Mrs. MacMahan flunk the sword study?
A: Because she forgot her lines.
EDIT: to really be able to appreciate this horrible joke to the fullest "Why the long face" will have to ring a bell.
Emily H
It is… They do make the spacing look real nice. But it's interesting trying to find room to fit everything.
Jedidiah Diligence Breckinridge III
Bwaaaa-haaaa-haaaa-haaaa…
That wasn't very funny. : |
Margaret Eddy
There was supposed to be a underlying irony.
ServantOfTheKing
I'm pretty sure they meant Ezekiel. I looked up the passage in Ezekiel, and it made a whole lot more sense. :) It actually talked about prophets. :P
Courtney M.
Where in Ezra 2-3 mentions prophets?
I was wondering that too…I just assumed that priests were the prophets they were talking about.
Courtney M.
We should ask the staff if that is what they meant. :P
ServantOfTheKing
I asked, and she said she'll have to get back with me. So we'll see. =)
ServantOfTheKing
