I've watch the first one. I watched it with my grandparents (being the only grandchild there)… Yeah, The music is really good!

I really like The Princess Bride - I don't think it has too much romance in it. It's more straightforward, whereas Love Comes Softly tends to be more implied.

@Hannah - Ages would be 2-18. We are looking for different ones, some for us older girls to watch alone and some to watch with the children. I don't think we will watch all the ones on our list… we just like to have a lot to choose from! :)

Okay, I guess it's something where I'll just have to watch Love comes Softly and compare it with The Princess Bride to understand what your saying. :)

Ok!! umm, If you like hockey and suspense, I would suggest Miracle but it does have a couple words in it, so I wouldn't recommend it for someone under 10-13, but a really good movie for all ages would be the The Last Ounce of Courage :D
And Petticoat Junction is a really really funny movie. ^it is a series too^ :D

1. not too much.
2. it's a comedy so it's exaggerated to ridiculousness.
3. the grandson's interruption are perfectly timed.
