She's my sister–so you can expect it from me. xP

*sneaks a snare in front of your foot* *is excited when you step in it* *laughs as I watch you dangle from the ceiling**almost falls* Nice try.*Walks in**trips you*
Laughing on the inside, Nathan. ^Oh, wait. No, I'm not.^
SavedByGrace
My apologies; I can leave if you want. *Watches you leave* Did it offend you _that_ much? :P*Walks in*I knew you were trouble when you walked in! *dubstep*
Be glad that you are blissfully innocent… :P
Hiruko Kagetane
*facedesk* When will you guys learn to be gentlemen?!?
I dunno. Not sure if we can. I mean…that's kinda boring. Y'know?
Courtney M.
Yeah, true. I guess Matthew would do it to me too. xP That's what big brothers are good for, right Rosie?

And you still don't know what I mean. :P

I'm not of the "just put up with it" mindset. (If you are, okay; but I don't agree that you should do that.) We're close enough to marriageable age that all teasing about the subject with specific names should stop.
Courtney M.
No, I don't. Boring? Ahem. Girls? Can you please help me tell him that you don't have to sit around (or stand up, if you've given your chair to a lady) if you're a gentleman? I know some very nice people who are also very fun and crazy sometimes who are also gentlemen.
God's Maiden of Virtue

I would think not. :)
Courtney M.
I know that they're very good for a lot more, but that's one of the things they're good for. xD

Fine. You asked the question for a reason. What do you want me to do? :P
Nathan Wright: Impersonator Hunter
What if my friends and parents were okay with me smoking pot, if it was in good fun? Would that make it okay?

Totally a different thing.

Dude, dude. That's not a working analogy.

Yeah, I know. My analogy was terrible. I admit it.

Which question? The one about when will you learn to be gentlemen?
I want you to keep on teasing, stop tripping girls and hanging them from the ceiling (I know you didn't do this just now), open the door, and give up your chair if a lady carrying a baby or a heavy load walks into the room.
Courtney M.
Analogies are dangerous things.
Nathan Wright: Impersonator Hunter
My point is that just because we all tolerate something and because it's done in good fun doesn't make it appropriate!
God's Maiden of Virtue

I do all of those except hanging girls from ceilings. and I trip girls. But, the ceiling thing is much…especially with the skirt issue…so…
And, why would I give my chair to a woman carrying something heavy? Wouldn't I take it from her? What's she gonna do with my chair? :P
God's Maiden of Virtue
I think I agree with that.

Right. Clear statements are sometimes better than analogies. x)

Don't try to impose logic on courtesy and chivalry. :P
Courtney M.
Okay, good. But virtual things are sometimes worse than the real thing. Nathan. You did it. :P
You could take it from her, AND give her your chair! Now there's an idea! And I didn't say give her your chair, I said give up your chair. :P
I'm gonna qualify the teasing part - do it appropriately. A gentleman never embarrasses someone or offends them.

Well, he never offends people unless he has to.

I'm wondering how much you're looking for conflict…I mean, Carissa doesn't care. If she's the "offended party", and she doesn't care…aren't you just making this your personal vendetta? And if so…why should I care? :)
Nathan Wright: Impersonator Hunter
Thanks, Sam. You didn't lose the book, did you? xP Just kidding. My mom keeps asking about it, so…

Not wrongfully. If they're offended by truth spoken in love, that's their problem. :P

Carissa does care. She just doesn't want to keep nagging you.
