My mom had her big toe cut off riding a bike.

Her whole toe?

Yes... the top of her toe. It was when she was five. The doctors were able to sew it back on most of the way, but she still has a hard time with balance when she's pregnant. :/

Oh wow… her foot got caught in the chain? Sounds very unpleasant.

She was riding barefoot and it got caught in the spokes. We aren't aloud to go around barefoot for that reason.

Well, I learned this weekend that I am to inherit my neighbor's farm (and horses) as soon as I get married! She says she's "dead serious" because no one else wants the horses, and I'm the one who loves the farm the most. I was really surprised! Kay has talked about it before (more in a joking way I thought)… but this time she means it. Her and Donnie aren't doing so well as far as health goes. :(

It was for a zucchini bread. It rose nice and everything, except it wasn't very sweet…kind of bland. :-/

Yes! I know she cares about me a lot (as well as Peter and Rebeka). She kind of took us under her wing when we first moved here and we were, "Kay's kids"… that's how people around here knew us at the fair and places like that. We took care of the animals and staked hay for them. Now neither of them can work jobs so we don't have to feed for them anymore… but I know their not doing so well. Yes, Donnie is her husband. They aren't that old… maybe twenty years older then my mom and dad.

We do sometimes, more often I think we call him by his first and middle name. I've started to use the children's nick names on here to keep them more secret… and yet Abi knows who I'm talking about. :)

There's a little boy at our church who calls my brother "Sathie" :P 0.o

edit - the funny thing is that, the little boy's older brother's name is the same and he never called him that!
