That's great!! I finished the Investigation section of the SS (I just have Week 10 left) and have all the verses and Jonah memorized, PTL! Now I'm working on reviewing my material, (CR, H/G words, Jonah info, etc) and am also learning the memory verse contexts. I can't believe the contest is in 3 weeks! I have so much to do before then.

Oh my…good question! I didn't know I could learn so much from Jonah ;-) Sooo many things!!
I think one thing that really stood out to me in chapter four is how Jonah was so concerned for "his" plant and all the "me" attitude, then God shows him that the Ninevites needed forgiveness far more than he needed the plant … "Should I not spare Nineveh?"
I know we can be so focused on "me" and have selfish attitudes that we forget about others and their need for Christ. I'm not sure if that all was worded right or made sense, but anyway =) It all sounds better in my head :P You?

I really enjoyed the study about the sacrifices. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (one of my favorite passages) is really neat when you think about it in the context of these things (joy, prayer, thanksgiving) being sacrifices to God. :D

Hmm, I'm thinking you did misquote the verse…. "This multitude" is mentioned earlier in the verse, but the last sentence is "O LORD, You are our God; let not man prevail against You." :)

It is sort of like volleyball but you have to catch the ball instead. I don't really know how to explain over the Internet, so look it up. :D it is a lot of fun. :)

That's what "xP xP" means. xP xP No, not really. I like regular volleyball much better. x) I learned it at last year's Family Camp, and everyone was always saying "Let's play Nookum!!" and I got tired of standing out all the time. xP
