Some school, I had to wash the dog up yesterday cuz he got sprayed by a skunk, our cousins spent the day here yesterday, and on Mon, my brother, mom and I went to Civil Air Patrol. :D

Well…there's no way you'll fail horribly:) But yes!!! That is so true!!! Getting into Nationals or even winning is nothing compared to the wonderful blessing of being able to freely study God's Word all summer!!!! And that is the whole point of Bible Bee! Even if you learned one thing about God, it was so worth it!!!

Um, well, I mostly listen to hymns or classical, but I like some of the contemporary Christian music I've heard. :)

Oh, I was just wondering, because there is a song I've been listening to a lot lately that has such good lyrics, but it is contemporary Christian. I love both! Though I am always careful what contemporary Christian songs I listen to - I do not like ones that have shallow, pointless, or lame lyrics.

Okay:) Yeah, I agree, there's a lot of more contemporary music I've heard that I absolutely do not like because it just means nothing. If it has good lyrics and a good message then I usually like it, even if I don't particularly like they style. :P :)

Ok!! yeah, I can't believe summer is almost over. :(

Okay. =) The name of the song I was listening to is "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus" by Nichole Nordeman…that is the only song I have listened to by her, so I don't know if I like her music, but this one is really, really good. Some of the lyrics are "Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face……watch the world grow dim, standing next to Him…"
