Thx :) it was totally worth it!! Not once have I regretted joining BB.. Yes indeed! It's been great.. Knowing that making Nats isn't everything but the memorization of God's word is priceless! Yes, I'm sad I didn't make it but it was nice to just hand everything over to God and let Him make the call. He knows what's best for me. I think that (what I just said) is one of the biggest things I learned from Jonah.

Wonderful to read that post, Steve. =) Great attitude to have about it all… so thankful for all the lessons the Lord taught me through this whole summer. Wouldn't trade them for anything. ^_^

Now that is what I would call awesome. And I would say, that you have gained so much more from our study this summer, than someone who scored really high and had their focus too much on the competition. Your example is so encouraging.

Just kidding, but this year I am recording myself saying my verses and listening to each a few times before I go to bed and then listening to them in the morning before I feel like getting up (I am not a morning person). I am hoping to research them and pick out key words the night before really trying to memorize them, so that the passage and its purpose is already familiar before cracking down and really memorizing it. For memorizing/reviewing, reviewing is incredibly important. I have a nine times a day bag for the day I memorize it, seven times bag the next day, five times the next, three, and then it joins my "say once every day" pile, (which is all of the verses I have memorized so far). Ideally, I have a day's worth of verses in each bag so I am also learning new verses every day, as well.

Yeah…I think the verses will take a lot of review. :) * is overwhelmed with what we have to do * XD

I'm actually going to cut out my cards as I memorize them so that I don't have to do it all at once… I used up so much time last year cutting out mine!

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!!! I made it!!!! I did NOT think I was going! I can't wait to meet everyone!!!! (wow, that was a lot of exclamation points.... !!!!!!!!!!!!! :D ) I got 108th place, but Idk my score 'cause we were able to get on the website but we couldn't see the scores, so my Dad checked from work and told me my ranking. Which means at LEAST three people (two of my best friends ever and myself!) made it from our Locals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise God!!!
