Have you ever ate MREs before!?!?!? D: Nasty!

I haven't, but my brother did at Encampment, and said they weren't half bad compared to our supplement stuff. :D But that he would not pick it for his everyday meal. :D Which kind did you eat? ^assuming you have eaten one because of your strong point of view about them… :D^

Oh okay! I lose my knives all the time, I have two in Ohio right now and two more somewhere in my bedroom probably hiding in my jeans pockets :p. I really want to get a good knife for stabbing someone in self defense, I like to always carry I knife with me, but its not really great for defending myself or others.

I know, same. :D I wanna get a concealed carry permit for a pistol when I get old enough. :D

I know that!!! I think our state is allowed to have them, if not, I will move to ND or Arizona or somewhere like that. :D I wouldn't ever do something like that before reading up on it. :D But our country is getting really crazy…

and I thinks its so dumb that you can't hold a gun to someone who was attacking you with a knife!

I love raisins!! And he had about 50 bags of raisins thrown at him. :D But the officers came and picked them up and guess what everyone had for supper?? Raisins. :D

Easy. Jab/gouge out their eyes with your thumbs, they will automatically let go of you. Seriously, it is what they do in the military. :D

Yeah!!! I have a Leather-man, and a buck-knife. :D

the leather-man is a fine knife to put in a survival kit.

Ok!!! Yeah, my brother has to have a 24 and 72 hour pack for CAP which is basically a survival kit with enough MREs and stuff like that to last that long. :D But you have to have a lot of specific stuff in it, but one of them is some sort of leather-man type knife. :D</blockquote>

Mine is a pouch that I put on my belt. I can build shelter, get water, and start fire, food… I can make weapons traps and fish.
any thing else would depend on the environment I'm in.

No. you run or fight them. I don't like it the other way around.

Yeah, I know, I done takes lotsa self defense classes and that be what they always teach. But if I had a gun, and someone was attacking me I would definitely at least hold it to them and I wouldn't care if its against the law. I'd rather be in prison then be attacked by someone who might murder me or do other stuff.

I know!!! I read a book about a Navy SEAL, and it said the food in the military seriously said ^this is quoting^ "for military or prison use only. No one joins the military for the food, that is for sure." :D And Hunter said the fig bars were edible, but he would take the fig newtons we get any day over them. :D

It is more for search and rescue than survival, but he does have to have a survival pack in it. :D And he has a military book that a friend has left here from about 2-2 1/2 hrs ago, that shows you how to survive in almost any situation, ahs hand to hand combat, and everything in it. It even has how to survive ^as best as you possibly can^ in some-sorta like chemical situation or something like that… It is like 6" thick, and he has 1/2 of it almost memorized. Like he would know what to do in half of the situations in the book. :D

I don't know, but it was from the military, and it is super awesome and neat. :D And my brother is teaching me some of the hand-to-hand combat. :D By using it on me in slow motion, showing me a certain position to use, and then going really fast. :D And he has super fast reflexes cuz he is double jointed, and the chiropractor said that somehow affects his reflexes… I have no idea how though. :D

Hard to say… but people who get into the out-doors are generally good people. and people who prepare for harsh scenarios arnt idiots. I'm sure you brother will do just fine if he ever gets into a pinch. ^its the bureaucrats that need discouraging^

Ok!! What is you favorite part of history to study? Mine is ww2. But we have gone through all the history up to 12 grade, so we will be doing government this year as soon as mom can order it. :D ok, my favorite is science, but music comes to a close second. :D

I like it all. I do like the World Wars though. I also like Scottish history. I am doing government this year as well as some American history. Ah, music is fun.
