WOW! I was shocked when I saw my Nationals score last year. I thought I would do a ton worse. I was 49th. I was also shocked at how easy the Nationals written test was last year.

Yeah, they made it easier, but they made the Oral round quite challenging.

I didn't think it was challenging. Well, except for the fact that they asked the one passage I hoped they wouldn't ask :P

Not necessarily. I was referring to last year's Nationals, because I remember, most of the people I talked to said they had a difficult time keeping up with all of the verses; and thus did poorly in Orals. (This includes me. I almost finished all of the verses last year, but barely had any time to review throughout. Hopefully this year is better… :))
