I think the nurse only had a fever, therefore it is hard to blame her or the airline company.

Yes, I heard she had a raging fever; but I believe I also heard that she was experiencing other symptoms, and is currently being treated at a hospital. They said on the radio that she won't be let out until she is doing better and free from the virus. Not sure what all that means though.

Okay. Well, we'll pray that no one was infected. I think that's there's something wrong when the doctors just let her go on after she called in with the symptoms…

She called into the doctor with Ebola symptoms the day before she flew.

Wait, she herself actually called in about symptoms, and they let her go anyway?

How many people have it? I heard 50%... It's really scary, since we're going through Chicago, and that's one of the airports that process those planes from West Africa. Add in top of that that Mum's pregnant...

I have no idea! 0.o I will definitely be praying for you guys as long as I am still alive.

Thanks. Don't die, okay? We still need you around. I can't imagine living right there, since we're so far removed from it, but I dread the thought of picking it up. However, we won't get sick unless God wants us too, and if He does want us too, well, we'd come down with it anyways. I can't bring any projects with me on the plane, for fear of picking up germs. This will be a long ten days. :-/

We are bringing gas masks. They haven't proved that it's airborne, but it is very possible. Still, chances are low that we'll catch it :) But only God knows!

We considered it, but I don't think we'll go that far. Mum has been ordering loads of essential oils and natural foods and treatment stuff, etc.

@Dani, Rachel, Sarah, and JJ (regarding your conversation about Ebola in OH): What happened was that one of the nurses who was involved with helping the man who died of Ebola (in Dallas, TX) came to Tallmadge, OH (a city _basically_ in Akron). When she was at the airport for her flight back to Dallas, she had symptoms of Ebola; and yet they just let her go right on into the plane (pardon me while I facedesk). Currently, we don't know if anyone in OH has been infected.
