Any buddies like Wolves At The Gate??? ^"we are not the wolves at the gate, we are the ones who face them....?"^

I listened to some of their songs and I would really like them if it worn't for the fact that when ever someone comes into the room talking I can no-longer hear the lyrics. X-(

So, I logged into my Musescore account about half an hour ago and found that someone had commented on Hero's Journey:
"Hey, I was looking through this site and I was wondering if I could use this song in a game that I am developing? If so, how would you like credit to be given to you? This is an amazing piece of music and it would make a huge impact on the game. Thanks for considering."

And must be so thrilling! I can imagine how it would be if someone requested to use my drawings for something they put together!

Flute is such an under-appreciated instrument. Looks like I'll have to buy my next flute book. :-/

What music curriculum does everyone use? For strings, our family uses Essential Elements. For piano we use Thomson, A Dozen A Day, and a couple other things.

For strings, we use nothing. ^None of us play strings.^ For Brass and Woodwinds it's a similar story. ^Same reason^ For voice we use a teacher, and the same for piano. ^I'm the only one that takes piano in my family.^

But I have heard a lot of good things about "Essential Elements" for strings. :)

For Piano we are using the Alfred's Premier Piano Course right now, but usually we use Piano Adventures: a Basic Piano Method.

I play the piano at a late intermediate–early advanced level. At least, that's the difficulty on the music I play. Some of the pieces I arrange may be slightly above that, such as Age of Gods, which I'm currently writing down. I also played the violin for about a year or two when I was about three, and I like to sing, but I've never had voice training.

I don't know my relative skill levels to others, but in order of personal proficiency:

1. Vocal cords
2. Guitar
3. Piano (very little)

I play piano and voice. :)

Piano (fluctuates with how much time I dedicate to practicing)

Electric Guitar

Eventual:

Ocarina

I play piano and violin. In a sense, I know piano better, because I took piano lessons longer than I've been taking violin lessons - but violin is advancing rapidly and I love it.

I'm working on memorizing the Bach cello suite No. 1 on the harp- it sounds really pretty!

Fun! I've done one or two piano things on the harp…if they're the right style, it can be lovely! Harp is really similar to piano.
