I just found an amazing resource!!!! :D This website has free lead sheets, arrangements, chord sheets (for guitars and such) for _lots_ of hymns! So excited, because I love lead sheets xD

Well, I like both arrangements and lead sheets…the fun thing with lead sheets is because you can make up your own improvisation but you don't have to figure out the chords ;-D

And that's why I don't like them…I know nothing about chords and can't improvise. The only thing I can do is sight read.

Yes you do know about chords! You play them all the time in sight reading! ;-)

I play them but I don't really. All I do is play the notes written on the pages…nothing more.

I actually don't mind tarantulas at all - in fact, we saw one in an RV park in AZ once (it was in the wild, not in a cage), and I wanted to get close for a better look.

Haha, I bet they are! You must be really hard on your music. :-) I mean, I have a 4-y-o brother, and the worst that's ever happened to one of my music books was when the cover fell off. :-)

Well, this book was originally Mum's, and probably went through a dozen or so students since then.

Oh, wow! No wonder it's worn out. :-P

Page turns are a musician's bane. :) I put my piano music in plastic sleeves, it keeps them in good condition and makes page turns easier. And it's only like a dollar for 20 sheet covers.

That's what I do with my chord charts for Awana–put them in plastic sleeves in a binder. Our worship pastor is great, but he's not the most organized. A lot of times he doesn't even tell me what I'm playing until I show up beforehand to practice, so it's nice to have all my Awana music in one place. :-)
