Boys are one of those things I will never understand.

What is that supposed to mean?

Someone should totally start a "Secret Bible Bee Statistics". It would be really fun to crunch some numbers so that we could have actual percentages to speculate endlessly with.

Secret, because Head Quarters is forever trying to throw us off the scent of any helpful tips and tricks we might accumulate over the years. I still don't think that it was very nice of Matthew to tell us that we probably wouldn't get three pagers, and then we got three pagers, and he get a two pager because he was an "M".

Wha...? Why you listening to me anyways?

All of my verses except for the four and five pagers which were close, and one or two of the minor prophet three-pagers were unreliable. However, for the couple of days before I was definitely focusing on the one and two pagers, and they were undeniably faster, because I thought I would only need three pagers in semis (not on a timer).

Now in Semi-Finals, where the first contestant got asked a passage twice as long as the last contestant did… That wasn't quite fair in my book.

Well, maybe. I know that I was afraid of getting asked Zechariah 2 (two cards), Zechariah 12, and Micah 4; any of the others (even four or five card passages) would probably have been fine. :) You're probably right about the lost sleep.
