I agree to an extent. However, without bounciness, life can easily become dull, and even pointless. I need a few bounces to keep me going.

Often flat things have better points than bouncy things.

Okay, perhaps so. But what about dullness? It is almost certainly simply a difference in our personalities, but I do not think that I could survive without excitement and unexpected events to break the monotony of routine life.

That is when we have some bouncy person come in and wreck up our game. Very exciting. If we survive, the excitement lasts us for years.

It would be interesting to observe that in your life.

Dullness is the opposite of pointiness. Therefore, if a squishy life is less pointy, it follows that it will also have more dullness. Thus we can conclude that a flat life is less dull than a bouncy life.

This argument all rests on your first sentence; with which I disagree. We are not talking about "pointiness"–we are talking about a different kind of point.

Oh dear, I'm afraid my mental faculties are starting to break down, perhaps due to the late hour. I don't know if my arguments will be able to hold up much longer.

I am using my blanket…but I can't stand comforters or any other such things. I am cold so I curl up in a ball. Depends. It can't be super soft but normally in the middle. Except for when I'm sick…then I like it hard.

It made it more interesting… for them. The very nature of it was to make it more exciting, with an audience, and microphone, and different verses, etc., etc.

Actually, I have been informed that the purpose of the change was to have a smaller space to work with. They said it was extremely difficult to find facilities large enough to hold the normal format for oral rounds.
