Social Chatting - January 2015!

Doing well!! My voice is all squeeky and whispery after being sick. It makes me laugh. xP How has your day been?

That's always weird how that happens :P I was able to sing several half-steps lower than normal for several days after I was sick last month. :P

Haha... whenever I get sick, I can always sing way lower, but never higher. xP

Hehe :P I have a high voice, so it was nice to be able to sing lower for a change. My family always puts me on bass when we do harmonies because I'm the only one that can sing that low!! I'm hoping Philip or Zachary will hurry up and change to bass soon! :P

You may remember that I tried bass in Nats 2013 choir, but that was before my voice finished changing and I had a smaller range. In the past year or so I've found that I can sing a lot higher than I used to. I'd probably be called a lead/low tenor. x)

Unless I'm thinking about it, I still don't bow all the way straight. =P

Yeah, I'm thinking it's probably going to take me a while. And I still don't quite grasp the wrist motion of when you use the very bottom of the bow… =p

It's designed for a teacher and a much younger student, and a lot of it I've been skipping because it's music theory which I already know about. xD I'm basically about through with everything it has (that is, the first six books) to teach me right now. I like all the great songs it has in it though!
