*sigh* Nicolas, Nicolas, Nicolas. I'm offended that you would even think that I was implying that original manuscripts are in existence today. That is not at all what I said. But it is a well-known fact that the huge amount of manuscripts that we have today give us the ability to know what the original manuscripts said, with over 99% accuracy. Therefore, it is indisputable (and you can check with the most respected New Testament scholars on this, like James White) that there were grammatical errors in Scripture. In fact, it's often an accusation raised against the inerrancy of Scripture, because it is universally agreed upon and some people see that as a problem.
I now understand completely, and apologize for misunderstanding and offending you.

Oh. Hey! I'm almost done memorizing Zephaniah! Took me too long, but I'm still excited!Great! :D
You should study it sometime! It has so much to learn from! :) Just like Nahum!

I'm certain I'll get to it at some point. ;D

I accept your apology.

Not as close on that. I mainly have chapter 2 left, since I studied 3 a lot for BB. It's going slower than I'd like because I have several other studies going as well on things…

It took a lot of pride-swallowing. Be grateful I offered it. :P

Mmkay. It's about the same with me and Micah right now. I'm somewhere around halfway through.

Do you guys ever get hit with the fact that you're gonna get to meet someone who has been super influential in your life and don't know what to tell the person, or you do, and you don't know if you have the courage to tell them?

I probably have been, but not strongly enough for me to remember, apparently. :P You speak from personal experience?
His Servant
Yeah, but you may have a good reason why, since you work a full time job.

I could throw out my random thought for the evening…like you did with yours… :P
Edit: Nope. Nevermind. Wouldn't make sense.

Lol, are you talking about getting to meet Paul Washer or one of the other pastors at the conference later this month? ;)
That exact thing happened to me a couple years ago when a Christian rapper came to HRBC to do a private concert for us and to preach for us. It took me until the very last time I was going to be able to interact with him, but I told him some very specific ways a couple of his songs had made a big impact in my life. It definitely took a lot of courage, but I think he really appreciated hearing about it. =)

You could. ;)

Meh, I'd say that your reasons are good, too. You have many other profitable things you're studying at the same time. And it's not like that's the only place you would be reading in Scripture and you're neglecting it. It's something you've added to your regular time in the Bible, so I don't think that's something you should feel bad about not being consistent with.

Maybe because I'll have the opporunity next week to meet Mr. Washer and know I'd really like to say something, but can't think of anything, or know if I'd actually get it out.

That's what I thought. xP I definitely think you should try to come up with something to say to him. Especially something to the effect of telling him that you listened to one sermon of his a day for quite a while. And I think you'd get some great responses from him as a result and it would start up a profitable conversation – despite the fact that he might initially think you idolized him a bit for listening to him that much. XD jk

Yeah, you mentioned that to me a long time ago. Though, it could be a little harder for me, cause I'm a girl, dunno. xP But, I just know I won't be happy if I don't say anything since I've really learned a lot from him.

Definitely work something up then. Make sure you know what you want to say before you approach him, so that you don't stumble over your words too much (despite the fact that some stumbling is inevitable =p).
