When we came down on Tuesday, it was snowing all the way from Fairbanks to the bottom of Broad Pass, but as soon as we got out of it, it cleared up.

Just curious, what were you doing in Palmer?

I really don't know. :( I would very much like to get in touch with her if I could…. but I don't know how. :(

Well, I happen to love winter, so I guess it's good that I live up here.

The snow is almost a foot deep now! I was saying this morning how glad I was that it was snowing, and Daddy says, "Stop being so happy!"

weather: cold (wish it was warm)

We got a Christmas card today from family in Australia, and it contained a comment about how we probably have forgotten what warm is. They sure got that right! Here in MN, we know cold and we know hot. Warm does not exist around here. xP

Funny - those of us who live in the Wilamette Valley do not know what hot or cold is. :P It's always so hot when 85 comes around (and that's dry heat, not humid), or so cold the rare times the temperature drops to the 20s. xP

wishes she could move to the Wilamette Valley Average summer temperatures around here are about 85-90 degrees and humid, and in the winter it's usually about 10 degrees. Although last year, we had one day when Minnesota was actually colder than the surface of Mars (windchills down to -50). :-)

Today we had a high of 5 degrees. Juneau Alaska had a high of 40 degrees.

We're currently having a thunderstorm up here. I honestly can't remember the last time we had a thunderstorm this late in the year. :-)
