Nicolas!!!! :D What ya been up lately?

Schoolwork, memorizing, and reading, basically. :D How about you?

Ok!! Reading what? School, band, ensemble contest for saxophone and flute, ^at least I don't have to practice for it anymore!! :D^ chores, and reading. :D

Cool. :D And what are you reading?

Well, I started and finished a book called Firefight (one of the best, if not the best, fiction books I've ever read) during my time away, and started Catching Fire, the second book in the Hunger Games trilogy. :)

Ok!!! I've heard that Moby Dick is sorta a torture to read... :D ^or it might be another book, can't remember... :D^ Oh, fun!!! Ha! I am almost convinced that you are so excited for the math test you are jumping up and down in joy, right?

You got the right book. It is a torture to read. The author dedicates a whole chapter to a fish hook. (Or I think there was one like that, I know he did one for a rope. :P) Eh, I'm not exactly excited for it, but if I'm right, I don't have any homework for the weekend in math! :D

Lol!! Ok!! Lucky... I'm behind in like three chapters in math right now... :D ^and I'm not even gonna mention science... :D^

Well, it's the sequel to another really good book called Steelheart. Both are set during a time not too distant from our time, but during which a race of humans called Epics have arisen–basically, humans with superpowers. However, virtually all of the Epics are super villains, and have laid waste to the Earth. The book is from the perspective of a guy who's in a group dedicated to eliminating the Epics. Both books have really, really good plots. :D

It's okay. The novelty of things like the career center and finally getting back to reading fiction books has sorta faded… so things are getting pretty monotonous. But pretty good overall. :) You? Reading anything new?

It's a Physics lab thingie. We were supposed to go for Biology one too, but they canceled it, and since we couldn't get a refund on our hotel, we have to just go there and hang out until the lab. XD
