Yup. Though, I do hope I never have to have surgery again, because the feeling of losing control of one's mind was absolutely horrifying, though, in the end, I am happy with results.

Yeah… The few people that I met in 2010 for the most part didn't come to 2011, so I had to find new friends. I met several people, but the real feelings of, um, fulfilling friendships came a lot more in 2012 and afterwards. I think I was still working on my introvert side in 2010-11. :P
