You should ask your hubby, when you get married. Me, I hope to get an old-ish house before I get married, so I can fix it up and paint it the way I like. And redecorate, and all that good stuff.

The girls and I want to paint our room. It's still the same color it was eight years ago when we first moved here.

I was meaning, if I didn't have to share with anyone and could do it all how I liked. ;) That sounds like a neat (but huge!) project. Old houses always have fascinated me, especially ones with lots of character on the outside. My parents have fixed up several houses, but we've never done any old ones, though it would be neat to at some point. :)

What color would you all paint it? :) My room that I share with Carissa is two different shades of purple, with white trim in between. And we decorate with a lot of random stuff. My wall of quotes/maps/verses all plastered up probably doesn't fit the room atmosphere, but whatever. :P

I'm not really sure. It's a light purple right now, mostly decorated with antiques and "doo-dads" from our grandmother and great - grandmother. I have a feeling that Joy and Delie want blue but I don't :).

I haven't been feeling totally well for a long time. Tomorrow is my birthday, and I have several events planned throughout the month. Please pray that I will be feeling better tomorrow (and the next few weeks after).

What do you do when you're sick? I sleep and read a lot.

Um. Depends on how sick I am. ;) Today, I've basically been reading my WW2 book most of the day and done my Bible reading. I helped cleaned the kitchen some, but for the most part I've just stay in my room, rocked in my chair, looked out the window, and read. ;) Sometimes I think, but not a ton, since it takes a lot of energy.

You have a rocking chair? That's awesome! We don't have room in our house for a rocking chair, but if we did… :) How is memorizing John coming along? You are very lucky if you can turn off or tune down your brain… I can't. :P I had a scary dream last night and woke up at like 3 in the morning. So I was super tired today.
