Music is a powerful beast. It works it's way through your ears and controls your thoughts, from there, it controls your head. In some people (myself included) it controls your entire body.

Oh, Faith-a-darlin'? She's really cute. :) Always so sweet, and always such a good chum-chum to me. The older-little chum-chum is good too! He recently got a table saw, so he's working on making a new chess set! He's really awesome at his wood working!

@Sam - Yeah, really. I could listen to music all the time. And recently, for some reason, I feel such an urge to play music, not just listen to it. I've really been getting into flute, and almost wish I could take lessons! And harp and cello would be so cool… but I try not to think about those much, since that isn't happening!

Well, um… I dunno. Is that like scientifically proven or something? :) I think it's really neat when people play lots of musical instruments, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're intelligent… maybe they are. I haven't really thought about it before.

@Sam - Nope! Just saying that playing an instrument doesn't perfectly equate with being intelligent. On the other hand, knowing you more than just a random person who plays an instrument, I would definitely say you're intelligent, if you're going to college for what you're planning on! I wouldn't even think of such a thing - way over my head.

Oh! MY! SAM! We totally used to have those when I was little kid! Daniel, Amy and I had several random different "instruments" like that! We had those, two large wooden poles we'd bang together, as well as a drum set made out of 1 gallon ice-cream buckets with other poles to bang on them with. XD

Just what I was saying this evening…

There! That's like, three other instruments you know how to play!

Oh, and you know what? The hammered dulcimer would be so neat to learn!!

Yeah, so when people ask me what instruments I can play, I'll start rattling off - the piano, flute, violin, guitar, triangle, drums, and maybe in the future… harp, cello and hammered dulcimer. XD That'd be quite the list. ;)

^And guitar doesn't really count in the "know how" list, since I can only play like 4 chords on it…^

Lawl. Doesn't look super-portable, though. :P

Maybe not. But it is super-pretty though! And technically, that's all that really matters in my book.
