It was okay. I had a pretty bad headache for a good deal of it, though, so I didn't get as much done as I would have liked. But it wasn't a bad day. :) You?

Oh. I'm sorry. =/ I hope you start feeling better soon! It was good - totally exhausted though. We went to the zoo with some of the Keim's. We had a free day, that's why we went. And then the rest of the afternoon I was mowing, chopping weeds in the back yard, weeding the gardens, planting some new plants, and watering. And then we had baked ziti for supper (on my suggestion), so that was great!

Sorry, I should have clarified. For all KC residents you could get into the zoo for free any Tuesday in April. So, I meant that it was free, in that we didn't have to pay for it. :)

It was a great day! I felt like I got so much done since I got so many weeds/viney branches off our fence. I dunno why, but it had been bugging me so badly that they were there, so I just went out there and did that this afternoon. :) Though, I haven't done any studying today at all…

Well, typically zoos don't just willy-nilly give out free passes to individual families, so I understood her "we" to mean a collective, nebulous "we" – our zoo had a free day today – the antecedent of "our" being anyone in the area who could attend. =P

It was "free" to like everyone in KC. That's how 30 buses arrived the same time we did. =P But it actually was not bad, we took a completely different route in the zoo than they did.

It was pretty good. =D Much better than yesterday. xP Though I guess I didn't tell you anything about yesterday, but it just wasn't the greatest day. =P Today was very interesting, though… a teacher at school got fired for something pretty serious she did that was just discovered today… and there was a lot of drama that followed. Thankfully Dad and I had to leave early because I had some appointments, so one of the other administrators had to handle the drama. =P

I went to the dentist to get a cavity filled (a simply wonderful experience), and then I went to the orthodontist to get pictures of my teeth taken before the surgery on Thursday. (The time for that is 7:30 a.m., btw.) Fun stuff. ;)

She said they went to the zoo and then quickly qualified it with, "We had a free day today, so that's why we went." I understand how you were confused, but I guess I've just acquired an ability to anticipate the thought processes that go on in Bethany's mind. xD
