I highly doubt that… especially if it's new… Have you looked everywhere on the laptop? The mic isn't going to work in the headphone jack, plain and simple. It's an output jack, not an input one. It's like trying to talk into a radio. =P

Well, then, there's probably some other input jack that doesn't look like what you're looking for… And that is likely on a new laptop. So yeah, I would Google how to do it with your laptop.

There is only one jack that this microphone will fit into… This jack works for other microphones. And it is not cause this cord doesn't work…cause it works on Amy's laptop…

I don't think it was ever allowed. But when you go to https://www.youtube.com, it lets you in. http://www.youtube.com doesn't work. The s is important. The first few times you went on YouTube, you had the s because people gave you links. Dad has the one without the s blocked on my account, too, but he knows I go on YouTube and he's fine with it.
