Dear friends,
I am concidering taking a kind of social media fast. You see, my tablet charging cord is about to give up the ghost, and I have absolutely no idea when I will get a new one. I am very sorry to leave you. But perhaps it will be for the best - I have long concidered trying the 'social media fast' that has been so highly recommended by the diligent of heart. :)
I will be able to email! If you can find my email you may send me as many emails as your heart desires. I like long emails! ;)
biblebee
Sorry! :P
Sarah: I'll miss you! hugs

as there seems to be nothing else to talk about tonight… Kissing, as in an intimate sign of romantic affection, should be treated like any other kind of romantic or physical contact with the other person before marriage. In my opinion I shouldn't happen.
Political kissing is different.

Quiet Evening…

I think it's that Redcoat in your profile pic that's doing it. XD

Um…you smile for them and you imagine what your own married life will be like.
Then you go back to cleaning your room, write in your diary, and watch some anime before bed. :)

Hey Christian!
Christian Alexander
Hey! How's it going? Where are you at in school these days?
biblebee
It's going well. :) Working on history right now…transferring notes from the notebook to the laptop. :) Well, I'm all done except for chemistry. I'll be done with that by the end of May though. :)
How are you doing? Did y'all have a nice time yesterday? :)
Christian Alexander
Nice! What type of history are you studying?
Oh, wow, nice! :D For some reason, I thought you guys were the type who did school all year round… but I guess that makes sense, since you never talked about doing schoolwork last summer. =P
I'm doing alright. =] Enjoying my last day of rest before I'm back to work. We had an awesome time yesterday! I'm not sure why, but I wasn't 100% looking forward to it – probably because our last visit with them ended with us in a debate about end times that just left me baffled about what they believe… So somehow that left a bad taste in my mouth and caused me to forget how awesome of a time we'd had with them up to that point. And no theological debates came up yesterday, so it was just an all-around awesome time. x) It was great getting to visit their church in the morning and evening, and then we had a fantastic time with them at their house. We stayed until around 12:30 and didn't get home until almost 4. XD
biblebee
American History. :)
No, we take the summers off. :) Which is nice…especially with BB… :P
How are you feeling today? :)
That's great! :) Wow! Y'all sure stayed late!
Christian Alexander
Nice. Should have been able to tell by your avatar. xD jk
Yes, definitely. We've always taken summers off as well. As I got older, however, it took me longer and longer into the summer to finish school, so I sort of got used to the idea of just doing school all year round. And it sort of makes sense anyway. I'm not sure how I'll do it with my family someday. Seems like a summer-long break, if nothing else is going on, just promotes laziness. And I think it only ever started because kids centuries ago needed to help their parents with harvesting crops during the summer. =P In fact, I don't think it'll be long, in our society that's increasingly-focused on indoctrinating forthcoming generations, before the government will just switch over to year-long schooling. And in this case, I wouldn't blame them. I'd want to be indoctrinating my kids year-round, too. xP
I'm feeling well! Everything's healing up just fine. =]
biblebee
LOL! Though the picture actually doesn't have anything to do with American History… :P
Yeah, I can understand doing school all year round… But I can also understand taking a break. The summer break doesn't need to promote laziness. In the past, before Bible Bee. We'd all plan out what things we wanted/needed to do that summer and then we'd do them. Of course the BB has taken the place of that. But I think that the summer can be used wisely without having to do school during the summer. Like use the time for more service to others and evangelism and family time and Bible study/memory, etc… When I'm older and married and have kids, of course it also depends on what my husband would want, but I'd be fine with my children taking the summer off…
That's great! :)
Christian Alexander
Lol, I figured.
No, I totally get that. And I have no problem with doing other productive things during the summer. I just definitely think the summer needs to be productive. And when I was a kid, it really wasn't for me. I just sat around and read worthless books and sometimes played outside. =P I mean, I suppose those things can be seen as somewhat beneficial – enlarging my vocabulary, improving my reading skills, and giving me physical exercise…. but I could have been spending my time so much more wisely. And I think it would have helped if I had the discipline of school continuing throughout the year. But, yeah, if you have a lot of good things to be doing throughout the summer, by all means, take a break from school and put your focus on other things! ;) I have no idea what I'll do when I have kids. =P
Hiruko Kagetane
You'll send them over to my house so that we can run around in the backyard with lightsabers, read Spider-Man comics, and discuss the reasons people have always loved heroes. ;)
Hiruko Kagetane
May the 4th be with you, by the way. ;)
biblebee
Yeah, I get your point. That's why I'm going to have definite plans laid out if I were to let my children take the summer off. Because I don't want them to just spend the time doing nothing useful. :P

Lawl. You put too little faith in your kids. And you don't even have them yet. XD

Yes, of course… That sounds like a totally redeeming way to spend the summer. =P
Seriously, tho, if I ever feel the need to educate my kids on comic book and superhero culture, you will be the first person I take them to. ;)

Just because I'd want them to be diligent during the summer doesn't l mean I don't have faith in them. :P Which is weird, cause I obviously don't have children. :P
