Is passive voice bad style?

It entirely depends. Too much is usually not good; but if it fits with the individual sentence and carries the point you want to make, it's fine. Just don't use it to excess. :)

DC is really, really comic-accurate with most of their movies (it used to be all, and then the New 52 happened. :P), more so than Marvel most of the time. But Marvel does have some really entertaining stuff too. The _Spectacular Spider-Man_ series is my favorite Marvel cartoon ever so far. :)

I've only seen one DC movie, so I can't really say anything about them. :P

The Sengoku Astray is pretty awesome! I actually own it; only downside is that the swords are all white. The kit provides stickers for the blades and hilts, but those are kinda lame, so I mused a Gundam marker to touch 'em up. I wish I'd had actual paints though, the blades would have looked a lot better.

I've had pickles. Those are bad enough by themselves. But with peanut butter they are sure to be even worse! :P
