I… went to church, stayed for lunch, then watched a dramatic production put on by some of the children of our church/school called "Preparing the Way for Jesus". It was really neat. :D

Well, only having had to practice an hour a week for my quarter credit this year, I haven't really done much on violin lately. I'm still kind of practicing the Mozart sonata movement I told you about, and "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" which I know by heart from playing on the piano. x) The double stops in both those songs are tricky!!

Double stops are tricky no matter what. ;D My teacher is always like, you have to look right at the string or else you won't play it right, till you get memory built up as to where it is.

Yeah, I guess so. I wonder if I'll ever be able to play to where it sounds okay without a proper teacher.

Of course you will. :P It does take a looot of time to get good sound. ^at least I think so^ It has a lot to do with how you hold your bow arm, and making sure you bow straight, keeping an equal distance from the bridge all the way up and back. And playing close to the bridge if you want more sound and farther away if you want less sound.
