We can't celebrate Independence Day here because we live in Greece and they don't celebrate it!!!

Uhh… That's because it's a American holiday… like Greece's independence days are on the 25 of March and the 28 of October. :p

They have two in Greece? Chile's is the 18th and 19th of September.

Yup. the March one is saying bye-bye to the Ottoman Empire, and the October one is when they said 'Oxi' to the Italians in WWll. (Oxi ^pronounced ohie^ is the Greek word for no. ;)) ;) Cool! Are they 2 separate holidays, or just a 2-day holiday?

Cool! Ours is just a 2-day holiday.=P It's against the law to work on those days, and the police can fine you if you don't have a Chilean flag out. I always thought that "yes" in Greek was confusing… It's "nay" or something like that, right? Can you guess what "no" is in Spanish? JK xP
