I am a week behind on my SG. and I'm not even trying to get caught up, it's soooo terrible. I just kinda gave up on BB this year. I might not even do it next year unless they bring back the SS. :(

hows the food?

The first day of camp I couldn't eat. I am having to have braces again because the ortho didn't give me the right treatment and my teeth are moving again, so they're giving me a free retreatment. And when I have spacers in my mouth to make room for the brackets, my teeth were hurting and I wasn't able to eat that day. But yesterday the food was awesome!</blockquote>

I had braces, and I have to wear retainers every night, otherwise my teeth would move back. Had spreaders, too. Not fond memories. Braces weren't bad, though… once. :-)

Hannah! Don't give up! I'm doing terrible too! I was three weeks behind by the time I knew there was a study guide and I'm doing my very best to get caught up! As master Yoda says, "Do, or do not, there is no try." Don't give up whether or not you are going to nationals! I don't know if I will or not but I'm going to do my very best no matter what! It's been a fun experience although I didn't know half of what I was supposed to do!

Yep! Got 1½ days of week 6 of the SG done and am making questions on it.

Okay then I understand why you wonder why I hate it so much. If you haven't experienced the SS you think the SG is great. If you have experienced the SS you think the SG is horrible. I'm still taking the test but I am totally going to lose and probably even do worse than my first year. I don't really care though.

Oh well it will be fun any way! What I meant by not knowing what to do, I didn't know the bible bee judges you by how well you know the facts and the verses, not just the verses. O_o

Isn't that interesting that 'Bethesda' means house of mercy? I never knew that! That sounds like that should be the name of a ministry or something, doesn't it? I love the name now that I know what it means, ( and to think I almost skipped that section!)

Like Keirstin said, don't give up! I know that it's really, really hard with the SG and being a Junior for the first time, but stick with it the best you can. It's God's Word so it can't be horrible! Even if you don't finish your Study Guide, keep studying the Word of God! Don't take a break like I did a few years ago. You'll always regret it, and you'll be miserable while you do. Sorry, that was a little blunt, but I'm guessing that you don't mind that :). No matter what, love the Bible, even if you don't love the Bible Bee.

Hey Matthew! Quick question about the practice test: When I compile it, do I just add questions to the test and leave 14 out?

Yeah. Put the best questions on the test and leave the others. However many questions there end up being submitted, there needs to be 150 on the test, as you know. :) I was originally hoping to post a full set of questions for each week, but that hasn't worked out very well. ;)
