Yes, we are :). We live in the more boring part of the state.

We are having omelets. George and Samuel have 80+ chickens, so we have an abundance of eggs. They sell a lot, but it seems that we always have eggs in the refrigerator :).

That's what I thought at first, too, but one of my siblings pointed out that Word in the Family might have already made hotel reservations for Nationals and then kept those for their Bonfire.

But they could have at least delayed it a few weeks. I've nothing against WotF having an event, in fact I might want to go if it were maybe mid-December (although I highly doubt we'd be able to go anyways this year). Yes, I agree, those who have stopped BB will be glad for the chance to have a Nats-like event to see each other, and I don't blame them. But forcing people to choose between Nats and the SS event…? I hate to say it, but that's appalling.

Studying's going pretty well! I have about 450 verses left to memorize and I hope to finish by the end of the month! Haha, you're kind of keeping me from it, though I was doing my MV review at the same time… :P

sighs I don't know. After getting to know them at GS, I wouldn't think that they would do that. Maybe they had to make more detailed plans before they could announce it. It doesn't make sense, though. It would make more sense to have it in September right after the Sword Study was finished. Hopefully, they won't do it this way next year.

Mrs. McMahan said the Bonfire was not nailed down for that date forever into the future, so I put in my vote for any other weekend in fall (I actually have a piano competition in the area that I am helping judge that always falls on that weekend as well).
