Me too! My fastest I think is around 250. For Job 3:2 in NIV: he said. :P

I have reading, spelling, vocabulary, penmanship, science, history, geography and I think others too that I can't remember. :P

My average is around 90-100. It depends how well I know the verse.

Dunno… my penmanship seems just fine to me. :P Dunno how I'll use it… they're "teaching" me cursive (I learned that years ago) and I'd rather use print anyway. :P

They make me read short stories and poems. I prefer to read novels, as long as they're interesting. :P

Hey Zach! :) Studying is going alright…although it's been slow the past two days because of my being sick. =/ Right now I'm doing some Jn 7 study though. :) Verses are coming along, too! How about you? How many verses do you have memorized so far? :D Yes, I did, but forgot to respond! Sorry. =/

That's ok! I just wanted to make sure you got my response and to make sure it wasn't looking like I was keeping the set all to myself! :)

Studying is going good - this year has been a lot better for memorization for me. I have 444 verses left to memorize (including overlapping verses). How's it going for you?

Right now I'm going through verses on Memverse and will be doing an oral review later today and work some more on the QOEV set.

Wonderful!! :D I'm not sure how many verses I have left with the overlaps, but I will say the stack I know is bigger than the pile of cards I don't know! =D I still have lots of perfecting to work on though. =P

Great! During your oral reviews are you just quoting to a parent?

Same with me, except that I have it divided into three piles for review :p

Haha, me too. :) I have a "Got it!" pile with perfect verses, "Almost there…" pile for ones with 1-3 mistakes, and "Working on it…" for cards I can say, but have 4+ mistakes or need more work on. ;) Lol, my index card box is JAMMED full of cards, it almost won't shut. xP

I have my piles divided into "word perfect", "1-2 errors" and "3+ errors". I review the 3+ error pile every day, the 1-2 error pile every other and the word perfect pile the following day. I use rubber bands to hold my piles together, and I can't begin to count how many rubber bands I have broken! :P

xD Either rubber bands are too small, or they are too big and you have to wrap it around several times. =P

Btw where did you place again?

Right. And when many of the rubber bands in the bag are old ones that have been used over and over again they are much more likely to break.

No, my lil sis didn't. She was #293 in Juniors, first time. She enjoys the fellowship and community at nationals, but isn't a big fan of studying.

How are you studying 7-12?

Like I have been the previous years. I do the QOEV set, compare the memory passages as CRs to the book/passage of study, Greek words, study the key events in the book/passage (i.e. the Feast of Tabernacles) and such.
