Why, oh why did I ever get involved in the Theology discussions thread?

Working on getting caught up in Bible reading…which means reading through all the major prophets in like a week…funness.

(no, that's not a word. English majors can make up words just as well as other people.)

Do you know how logarithms were invented? Neither did I until a couple days ago.

I love playing with numbers. You can do so much with them. It gives us the tiniest hint of how to think about infinity in a way few other things do.

alright! I have just a few minutes though. =/ How's studying? :)

Okay. Studying… I'm staying caught up on my schedule, but now that I'm pretty much completely finished with the memorization part, I'm having this weird feeling that I'm not doing enough… I guess because I'm not pressured to do as much. I think I need to find more things to study, or review a lot, or something. :P

I'm getting into chapter 10 now and am enjoying it as always. :) I found a really awesome CR for the chapter (especially verses 9, 27) in Exodus 21:5-6. The Evidence Bible brought it to my attention - that book is awesome. xD

Oh yeah, I do need to get started on memory verse context…

I know, I have that feeling too. =P How are your verses coming along? Keeping them perfected? =)

For the most part, yeah… :) In my memory system there's less than 20 passages that I have made a mistake on in the past week. I keep occasionally making a mistake accidentally on a passage I've had perfect for a long time, though. :P

That happens to me, too. Very annoying when it happens. =P

How's Courtney doing in her studying?

I think she's doing extremely well, considering that she's having to juggle school and regular housework as well as studying. She has all her verses nearly perfect as well. =)

Oh, I need to ask this question to another KJV user. xD How do you pronounce "shew/eth"? Shew with an e, or shew sounding like show? I've heard people say it both ways. I've been saying "shew" to be safe, but what do you do?

I always say show with a long o, but they're supposed to accept both ways. :)

Haha. xD It's going alright - I'm working on getting the verses perfect, and I need to finish up Jn 9 and start Jn 10 tonight, Lord willing. =) I got behind in Ch 9 because I wasn't feeling the best for a couple days this week.

Actually, in the the old pronunciation of "shew" it's a long oo sound… xP "Show" with a long o is the way we always say it today.
