How's the memory work coming?

It's going fine. :) How about for you? Where are you at in studying?

"Fine" as in… mostly perfect by now? ;) I think my memory is slightly improving, I just really need to focus while I'm quoting. I know what all the passages say by now but if I'm not focusing hard enough I will mess up every so often. Have you studied context yet? As for studying, I'm doing day 4 of John 12 today - studying the triumphal entry. Haven't actually done that yet… it's sitting here right in front of me. :P

I've said all of them perfect at least three times in a row, though some of them I need to pay a lot of attention to or else I'll self correct a lot… So, yeah, I need to work on focusing too. xD I've done context/application/cross referencing for all the verses up to Acts (minus all the John ones since I already know the context :P) You? Haha, well good! :D

That's great!! I usually count self-corrections as mistakes… :P Okay! I've done context, etc. for a little over half of the verses so far. I'm not really doing it in any particular order, just picking several passages from my weekly quizzing section of the day. One thing I just started doing is picking about 5 key words for each passage that summarize the main themes of the passage. I think that will help me with questions like "which memory passage says this" especially when they're open-ended… ;D I haven't done any context with John either. ;P

I know, I really should too. But I don't want to. xP That's a good idea about summarizing the main themes of passages, I've thought about doing that before… you'll have to tell me if it helps. :)
