Hi Matthew! xD How's studying today?

Hi Rachel! =) Well, as usual on a Saturday, not getting quite as much done… But since it's the last Saturday before Nats I'm pushing myself a little harder. :) Currently reviewing John 5 on ST, I think I'm a little rusty on some of those verses.

That good :D I mean, that you're reviewing and pushing yourself harder ;) Do you type verses on ST everyday?

Yep, every day. I think it helps me with the memory verses as well as John 1-12. Of course I quote every day too, but there's something about typing that makes you think about the verse more. :)

How is your studying?

How are your siblings doing on their studies?

Okayish. Depends on the sibling you're asking about… I think generally the older the contestant is the better s/he is doing in this family :P

It's going alright, I think! =) I'm basically just reviewing everything at this point. Praying that the Lord helps me to do my best through His strength (Psalm 18:32) and glorify His name (12:28a) through all my testing!!

No we use my mom or dad's hotspot on their phones. The battery on the laptop just isn't very stable when plugged into a vehicle.

All perfected except for Psalm 51:1-17 (2 errors), Psalm 103 (2 or 3 errors) and Psalm 145 (2-5 errors). Psalm 145 was definitely my hardest one. U?

I just like remembering the hymn: "No matter what may be the test, God will take care of you!" :) (He gave me the line of that hymn recently, and it's been super encouraging xD ) Do you?

Yea. I was given the second best set of verses to recite.
I don't exactly like it, but I can't speak from experience, obviously. I didn't like the stage format of orals last year before I did it, but after doing it I decided I liked it that way. So idk what to think so far. Except that each verse will weigh more than in previous years because they are only 3, and errors will probably cost more points.

I personally think that's kind of ridiculous… but my opinion doesn't count for much. :P I should be able to quote all of them perfectly, but still occasionally make a tiny mistake… I'll just have to rely on God to bring the correct text to my mind. :)

That would stink :( and it's not really that fair for other contestants who might not have memorized the longer ones, "pistueoing" that they wouldn't ask the really long ones in prelims.
