Ok!! My cousins been trying to make bows and arrows. See, mom taught me how to hunt. You go sit in the stand and fall asleep. If you wake up and see one shoot it. If not, go back to sleep. Repeat until you shoot a deer. :P I got a button buck, and a fork. :D
Sweet! I gota try it some time!!!
Wish I could talk more but i've got to go now. Happy Hunting!

And novels are far more likely to assist a person in refining his grammatical skills, something which I desire greatly. ;) And while video games can have good stories, novels usually have a better ability to explore deeper plots.Sadly, I never had the faculty to understand the jargon in the novels much less analysis the grammars. As for plot, good luck competing with the zelda franchise! I just finished a part at the bottom of a lake sooooo deep you cant even hold your breath down there (hows that for deepth). Anyhow, fare thee well, I must go now.
I've heard that the Zelda franchise, and the timeline accompanying it, is a mess of a plotline. :P
Farewell, Peter. :D

Less work is less gain! You can't get anywhere in life without work! :P And you either weren't reading those grammar books right, or you weren't reading the right grammar books. :P Grammar doesn't contradict; there are a few exceptions to the rules, but grammar is a logical system!*tries not to let his head explode* You cannot speak in such a way to the MV Court Grammarian! Grammar is important, and logical, and beautiful! The study of it is profitable, intriguing, and exciting! Never shall you speak ill of it again! :P... I like his thinking better though, cuz it's less work!!! :D ^plus the rules contradicting each other is kinda true... I've read multiple grammar books before, and they all said different things... :P^
- I work hard. But not at grammar. Never. Ever. :P
- I am not known for my logic. It is actually the opposite. I am known for being stupid. :D
- I would rather spend my time reading. Or eating. Or drinking tea. Or all of those. Than doing grammar. :D
- I know how to do chicken scratches and dots and comma's. :D most of the time. :D

*sigh* Tell me about it. :P Well, at least I don't have to suffer the post-traumatic stress of lack of intense studying and seeing dozens of good friends. Not that that compensates for it at all... :P"If I were to -count them, they- [tell about it, it] would be more in number than the sand." <-- x^) do you think you all will be doing Bible Bee next year?
Will you be doing Bible Bee in 2016?</blockquote>
The chances are looking high. :) I will be hard put to devote adequate study time, considering I'll likely still have a full-time job, but I will do my best. Considering it will be my last year, I'll aim for Finals. ;D

Ok, bye!!

Hm… grumble To each his/her own, I suppose. :P

On the contrary; it is a _system_, which must be governed by rules. Looking at grammar as simply a list of rules will indeed make it look boring; but it is not so!Plus, you just referred mainly to punctuation, which is only a small part of grammar. :PThe rest is rules, correct?
Ok. I have a hard enough time understanding math, much less grammar stuff. :P

I had a hard time with math too. But I pushed myself to learn it, and I'm starting to get it now! :) Even if you won't ever need some of these things, doesn't the simple joy of learning new things drive you? Life would be so boring if you ran out of things to discover! :)

Wow, looks like everyone chose to run away from this challenge… lol
Sarah
runs over the challenge
Dance4Him
Your'e sitting down!
Dance4Him
I dare you to physically run over me.
Sarah
gets up and runs over the challenge
EDIT: Actually, barrels into the challenge
Dance4Him
That was a fail.
Dance4Him
Run over me. Like climb my body, but while running.
Sarah
I concur, wholeheartedly.
(Bonus points if you know where that came from.) :-P
Sarah
tickles the challenge
Dance4Him
Soooo I think you need wrestling lessons. You are clueless at how to attack people.
Sarah
That's why I'm a healer and not a warrior.
Dance4Him
Well I think a healer would know not to attack someone with an open knife…
Sarah
When have I attacked you with an open knife?
Gloria
SURPRISE!!!!!!!! xP
Gloria
*SURPRISE!!!!!!!!* xP
What??!!!! I didn't surprise anybody?? :( cries

So what mistake were you referring to on That Moment When? I don't think I was following along with a Bible on that one. I know Courtney skipped a verse and Joshua skipped the first couple verses.
Emma, we don't understand how someone who missed several verses can get into finals over someone who just missed 1 verse or someone who seemingly added 1 word. We were watching the livestream from our hotel room and thought it a little strange…
White Kids
No! It was not nervousness - it was a misjudgment. Their judges were way too strict this year. They said I added the word "the" in between "let no man deceive you with" and "vain words" in v. 6. But listen to the recording - I did NOT. It was basically an accidental Italian accent.
By the way, I (Danae) competed last year as an 18 year old, so I think for all you 18-year-olds you can compete in your 18th year but it might depend on when your birthday falls before Nationals.
If you don't compete next year, do you still plan on studying the materials?
Gloria
*SURPRISE!!!!!!!!* xPWhat??!!!! I didn't surprise anybody?? :( *cries*
I wonder why it did that…

Driving on American roads is so funny. :p
White Kids
So, where are you from? England?
Gloria
No… Greece. ;) but the roads there are like sooooooo much smaller than the roads here… and the cars are wayyyyy much smaller there too. x)

Haha! That's great, we've never been to Greece, but we hope to go one day (soon!). From pictures we can imagine how small the streets must be! :)

Yeah, well since only four people said their passages word perfect, everyone else basically got a second chance, despite some people making bigger mistakes than others on their previous passage. It's really the only way they can do it, because if they based it on how big the mistake was, how would they judge if everyone messed up the same amount (like missing one word)? I see what you're saying though. It just had to be Matthew who got the worst end of it. :/

Unless they move the date (which they won't), I am officially an alumni. I will be 19 on next Nov. 13th. =( I will probably still study somewhat next year.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Matthew, do you have any pictures from the week you or Courtney can email me? I don't have any from the "hallway picture session" (xD), and not too many from your house. And any others you have that you can throw in would be fun xD
And saying you're "officially an alumni" is so sad. I know how you feel. x(
Gloria
Is this your first time in the U.S.?
No… we lived her til I was 7 and then 8 years ago we moved there… so I hardly remember anything… :)
Matthew Minica
I'll try to send some pics real soon, Rachel. =)
Awww cries with you :'( (I've really been crying this morning)
Gloria
Why has everyone been crying anyways?

That ^^ is an obvious "inexperienced Bible Bee-er" comment. ;)
Dance4Him
Well, I'm an inexperienced Bible Bee-er and crying (almost. I haven't cried in years.)
