Haha. You'll get used to it. It was my fourth year before I really started crying every time Bible Bee ended. xP

Yeah, that was me last year. Since this was my second year in Semis, I halfway expected to get there, but it was still an emotional experience.

You should come to Nationals next year! You would love it!

Yes, I thought you would be in semis :). And I wasn't surprised when they called Delie right before me (especially with the glitch and getting written scores). But when he said, "Anna M—", wow… :) And then of course I had to cry for all my friends who made it, too! :D

I really want to, but there are two major problems.
1- I live in Minnesota, and it has been in southern states the past 4 years.
2- If I really want to go, it would be a good idea to compete. I have in the past, but not the past two years. I am very strongly considering competing next year thou!

Our account is for us – the youngest four kids in our family – the oldest is Danae, then Daniqua (I do most of the typing), then there's Danyel Ezekiel, and Danyelle. Danyel Ezekiel did not attend Nationals with us.

Becauseeeeeee!!!!!! It's sad to leave good friends thousands of miles away! :'( And plus, with this being my final year, it's sad because I'm done as a contestant forever, and that has been the highlight of my year for the past 5 years. =/ It's a chapter of life closing. :(

Don't give up! The first year that I did Bible Bee, I was 315th. That was pretty discouraging, but God has shown me a lot of grace.

Thanks, yeah totally! I actually had gotten 158, then 116, so it was really discouraging to get 486th the next year. But I think I'm ready to try again, especially being more mature and doing it for reasons other than to win.

I understand. It seems like everything always happens the opposite of how I expect for Bible Bee :). I guess that God is teaching me that He is completely in control. Last year, I really wanted to be in semis and thought I stood a chance, but was still about fifty points away. Then this year, I hardly even imagined that I would be in semis, and God was so gracious to me! He is sovereign over it all and plans it exactly the way that will bring the most glory to Him.

Absolutely! But hey, you learned that lesson safely, me on the other hand learned it by almost dying.
