We've spent/are spending too much of the winter in warm places. I'll have missed three months of winter by the end of all this. :P

I'm thinking I'll get a used Canon. Or, right now, Canon's refurbished STM is marked down, and they have free shipping. So I need to make the decision by Friday.

Well, I do a lot of portrait photography, and I'd like to get into product/food photography. I've used the lens in the past, and it's got great clarity, and a low aperture. I really love that lens, and always thought that if I got a DSLR of my own, I'd get one of those lenses.

Yeah, but it does have a large aperture! My kit lens is good in most situations- it's 18mm-55mm (I believe the aperture is f/3.2)

Oh, that's not good :( There have been several shootings in a city that's about an hour from where we live.

Yeah, it really is. That must have been freaky!

I think the kit lens only goes down to f/4.5 at 18mm.

My day has been alright, I was up really late last night, and then woke up at 7. Other than that its been fine, but I've been doing a ton of school.
