Or even better, use the active voice: "Wow, PEOPLE have been here today!"

You could also use a more colorful verb: "Wow, PEOPLE have come here today!"

You could also sound weird but be slightly more refined by saying "Oh! People have come here today!"

I'm not sure. "People" is plural, and "has" is a singular verb, I think…

Yeah, you can't say "there has been people." That's subject-verb disagreement. You have to say "there HAVE been people." :P XD

We wouldn't want the subject and the verb to get into a fight!

LOL! I think I'm harder on myself, grammar-wise, than my English teacher would be… but then my English teacher is my mom. :D

My English teacher used to be my father, but now I'm taking an English course at our community college.

Oh, I see. That's great that you're taking English at your community college! I'm going to take a composition course online this fall, so I guess I'll have a different English teacher soon.

My course is online as well. I prefer online courses. It seem like such a waste spend time driving to school. I've been spoiled as a homeschooler!

The book of Judges was written in a chiastic structure. That means that the first story corresponds to the last story, and the second story corresponds to the second to last story, etc. What story is the pivot point of the book of judge (i.e. what story is in the middle).

No, he was at the end. He was the worst judge. He basically just did his own thing. The judge in the middle was a turning point. All the judges before him were more or less good. He he started out good but ended up setting himself up at a practical king and landing Israel in idolatry.

It's kind of a hard question if you didn't have to study the book of judges for a test. Do you want the answer?

It was Gideon. He started out by tearing down the statue of Baal and killing the Midianites (although he had some issues with faith). In the middle of the battle, however, he went out for personal vengeance on the Israelites who wouldn't help him. In the end, while he gave glory to God with his mouth, he became a practical king and created an image which led Israel into idolatry.
