...you walk straight into a door. Not the doorframe, but the actual door.
I did that at swimming once. It was embarrassing. :P

Oh dear xP In our previous house, we had a glass sliding door, and I can remember at least one time when a visitor did that :P

When my dad was a kid, he walked into a sliding glass door- carrying a container of hot water. Yeah. Ouch.

… when after weeks of Spring whether in Southern Pennsylvania, you wake up to find the ground covered in snow! And it's still coming down. We hardly ever had this much snow even in the Winter!
Ian R.2
I don't know where you live in PA, but I was shocked when I woke up today too. And also, it's weather. :P
Sarah
Haha, we had that yesterday! It was snowing really hard when I woke up, then it slowed down, then it stopped and the sun came out. Then it started snowing hard again, then it slowed down, and then it stopped. And that repeated every couple of hours all day. xD
Gloria
No snow here… XP.
We just had a very mild winter so now it's getting warm here… :/ it's going to be a hot summer… At least the beach is cool. :p

Exactly! We've gotten more snow here in Michigan in April than we did in December!

…When your friend tells you that 'you need to go flick bubbles with him'. (I guess chasing soap bubbles is as popular a game for teens as for toddlers…)
…When a bunch of kids in suits and ties are playing helicopter, Frisbee, and skateboarding.
…When a parent decides to join the little kids in a game of mousetrap…spilled his coffee but didn't get caught. :P
…When people are giving weird looks to the herd of nicely dressed kids who are all hanging out at the grocery store food court at 11 at night for the ballot party. (something like after BB closing ceremony)
Yep, speech and debate is awesome. xD

…When Emily is never online anymore… XP :P
2 Corinthians 5:17
…when you teach your little brother Psalm 56:3 with hand motions, but he insists on quoting it as…
'What time is it, I am afraid, I will trust in Thee."
XD

lol :p @Rachel
…when you keep saying "Roger roger' to your brothers in a funny imitation-droid's voice to drive them crazy. :p
… when your brother thinks you're saying 'a certain bad word in Greek' but you're really saying Malachi… O.o They sound very alike… :p

…when you and your sisters get asked for the second time in one night, "Are you three sisters?"
…and when you wonder, should I tell that person that I'm actually not Joy? :)

…when you start talking with some random tourists in Ireland and find out where they (used to) live in the States is a town near yours. Small world!
AND…
When another couple you talk to live near Emily and know where the town is she lives in. xD

…you Google "Perkins egg allergy menu" to look for egg-free food options and the first thing that comes up is the Perkins egg menu. Literally the exact opposite of what I was looking for. xD

…when you and your sisters go on a several-day trip, and when you get back, your youngest brother has switched to calling you "Anna" instead of "Nanna". (This really is a lot more sad/bittersweet than funny.)
Emily H
Awww :')
Matthew Minica
Emily!! Did you see Rachel's and my posts on Prayer Requests? :P
2 Corinthians 5:17
Aww x) How old is John now? 2?
Emily H

2 Corinthians 5:17
Whoaaa. That's sounds like a kind of crazy week. :P How long to you have to do that for?

…..your family goes to Olive Garden, and the people at the two tables next to you talk to all of you, give you a 20% off coupon, and wave goodbye when you leave! xP (It was super hilarious- I mean, how often does that happen??)
Gloria
Awesome! lol. :p
2 Corinthians 5:17
…when you view Mars, Jupiter AND Saturn (with it's rings!) through our telescope…WOW! Especially Saturn. :o
…when you get in a "I miss my Bible Bee friends" mood so you go and tape all the printed pictures you have up next to your bed. xD
…when your 2 year old little brother can find all the places you hide your stash of chocolate…how, I don't know. :P

When we were on vacation to Georgia we were at Cracker Barrel, someone completely paid for our meal and wouldn't even let us pay the tip!!!
Matthew Minica
One time our whole family (I believe we had 10 or maybe 11 members at the time) was at a restaurant on vacation, and some generous soul saw us and decided to pay for our meal. So they told the waitress and then left, and the waitress told us, leaving us wondering who did such a kind deed. xD
2 Corinthians 5:17
That also happened to my dad and brothers once…whoever did it, bless them! x) I wish there were more people like that in the world! (I mean, not more people to pay for your meal, lol…but kind people. Seems our world today is losing the art of kindness, to an extent.)

…although people to pay your meal would be nice, too! ;)
My brother and sister both work at Tim Hortons, which is a chain of coffee shops in our area, and I have heard about instances where one person will pay for the meal of the person behind them, so when the person behind pulls up to the drive-through window, as they didn't have to pay for their meal, they will pay for the person behind them, and a whole chain will start. There's normally someone though who goes "Oh. Thanks!" and drives off facedesk
I think since most people are being public schooled now, they aren't getting the teaching about proper manners and kindness, etc. It's kind of sad. Most teens sadly are not being good representatives of our generation :/

2 and a half :).

That moment when you realize having online friends means you ought to let them know what's going on in your life sometimes…and that the time was about three months ago. :P
2 Corinthians 5:17
I've heard of that chain…never been there though. Exactly; it's sad. =/
