I'm not sure whether to congratulate everyone who helped me with the study book on John 13-21 or not. I've been studying John for a year! I was hoping for something new.

Great! It's not really geared for studying for the Bible Bee, but hopefully you'll still find it helpful.

That is true, but I'd still prefer something new. Oh well. Luckily for me, God's Word can never be exhausted! There's always something new.

Alright, guys, I'll try to make this happen. But I'm gonna need a lot of help! I'm not even doing the Bible Bee this year, for reasons like the new study guide, and I'm looking for a full-time job, and the new study guide, and I want to put more effort into the Ohio Scriptorium, and the new study guide, etc. I'll be happy to study the book for the quizzes, but I'll need some people to fill me in on the "deets" so I understand what I'm organizing. Needless to say, we're gonna need more question submissions for each new chapter of the guide. I'll write a blog post about this soon.

Would anyone happen to remember how many question there were in the locals for each age division last year?

At locals it was 100 for primaries 150 for juniors and 200 for seniors.
At Nationals it was (I think…) 175 for primaries and 200 for both juniors and seniors.

I wonder how many of them have figured out how to download the Discovery Journal. About half of our local Bible Bee didn't figure it out until the end of the week.

You can register at https://biblebee.org/register . I know in previous years you had to be a US citizens to compete, but that may have changed this year. If you're unable to compete, I'd be willing to share the link to the Discovery Journal (which is basically a bible study on John 13-15) with you! By the way, I don't get on the "introduce yourself" forums that often, so welcome to MV! =D

If I remember correctly, last year BB had just under 4000 that registered in the beginning. Not 100% sure though.

Okay. Well, Bible Bee may get more by the time registration closes. Even if Bible Bee doesn't grow (numerically) this year, it will be great if the number stabilizes. hopes that lots more people sign up

Excellent question. The problem is, there is not a rulebook out yet. They are hoping it will be released before the local test. I will try to remember to let you know if I hear further.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to remind y'all to stay off the forums tomorrow through Monday, regardless of when you take the test. I think it's just safest if we all stay off, that way the people who have taken the test don't say anything, and the people who haven't don't see anything. I hope that the test goes really well for all of you! God is always good, even if we can't tell how at first. Let's trust Him to guide us and do what is best. Happy studying! Praying for y'all!

I have a question for those who were at Nats last year. What is the water park like? Because I asked my dad if we could take our swimsuits and go to the waterpark while we're there, but he's not sure because he wants to know what it's like before he gives a definite answer.
