I don't know. The Super Memo algorithm (at least the basic version) is really easy to implement. Then you could use it to rate how much each question need to be reviewed and have a little marker that slowly fades from green to red or something.

Exactly! Programming the behind the scenes code was always (generally speaking) easy for me, it was the web design and interface that took me a long time to learn. And then again I don't really have time for coding during Bible Bee season.

It's not all about money! Besides, it's no fun to collaborate with the well established system. That's like using JQuery. It makes the program only partially yours.

Hm, not really. That was something I had to learn when I first started web developing. I wanted to do what everyone else was doing and do it better. Then I realized the only thing that was worth anything was being unique. With all the study sites that are on here, Quizlet no doubt being the best of them all, it's not really worthwhile to make yet another one.

Which is why there are already so many other study websites out there. :) I agree with 1 and 2, no comment on 3, 4 or 5. But if we want to do something fun to learn, why not make it something unique, something that people would use? Back in 2013 when I first had my website I was just trying to duplicate things like I said earlier, and people weren't enjoying it. I think my first year I barely got 400 hits. In 2014 I began my blog and For The Bee. Unique things. My blog unique in that it was my personal Bible studies, and For The Bee in that it not only provides learning tools like Quizlet, but also is an index of many other study resources as well. To complete the statistical proof, my website received over 10,000 hits last year and it looks like this year will be at least as high if not higher.

I'm not planning to make my website exactly like Quizlet. For one thing, I would like to make it easier to share study notes. The Google Docs are hard to find and hard to organize. Additionally, I would like to make it easier to collaborate on creating tests. Classmarker is not the most convenient for creating informal tests. I would also like to be able to use the Super Memo algorithm in a less formal, structured way. Finally, I would like another option for reviewing verses. I don't like Memverse and Scripture Typer. Typing out the verses takes so much longer than simply quoting them.

I agree, and it would be great if someday we could team with Bible Bee and make an official studying page with things like you suggested!

Lol I get what you're saying :P hopefully it'll be better by then. I was thinking in light of how Scripture Typer is affiliated with Bible Bee, but not controlled by them. Something in that respect but with all the advantages and more of the various websites used for studying now. And it would be actively promoted by Bible Bee like my website was last year.
