Oh Gloria… you may or may not be interested to know that on Thursday I went swimming for the first time in water deeper than I could stand in and have my head above it… it was like 20-40 feet deep.

Cool!

First, we had improvisers (I was one of them! :O) who stood up in the middle of the song and improvised like 4 measures. Then the cello player played a note, spun her cello, played another note, spun her cello… etc. And she literally had only about half a second to spin her cello.
And THEN… all the violinists and violists stood in a line. We help our violin like normal, but put our bow hand under our instrument, and played on the person's beside us instrument. It was soo hard, especially because the person beside me kept holding his violin wrong so it was hard to reach. When I told him so, he just told me to grow longer arms. xP

We did!!! Also, we had a professional fiddler come in to teach us some techniques, and we also played that song for him. I improvised pretty well, but then the other improviser totally messed up and just said Whatever and sat down. it was so funny.
