I know, it's really too bad that we live so very far away. :P I keep begging my mom to go out west again…. don't think it's happening. :( :P

I know… =P We've never been in the North East, so maybe someday we'll make it up. You can always hope. xP But I think it's much more likely that we'll both end up somewhere like FL campaigning. =P jkish

Today, in 1944, Paris was liberated by the Allied forces after 4 years of Nazi occupation.

I won't be on hardly any tomorrow or Saturday. I will be square dancing all those day's. About 3:00 CT I and my square will be doing a competition, results will be posted Saturday, late night or Sunday afternoon.

After seeing the history announcement, I had to add my own tidbit of information :).

I went on the scariest fair ride EVER!
If you love being super scared… and still be shaking 15 minutes after it's over… go on Super Shot! It slowly……….. very, very slowly…….. lifts you up super high in the air…. Suddenly it lets gravity take control and you drop almost all the way down until you're almost about to crash, it slows you down.
But at least I didn't scream…. :P
And the second scariest I also went on. (It's also very, very unsafe…. never going on it again.)
It's like a boat, and you get in and there are no buckles or anything. Just a bar (that is so loose you could easily get out without lifting the bar.) Then it swings back and forth till you're almost upside down…. Anyone could easily fall out…………. Maybe it's even scarier than Super Shot! Not sure.
Anyway, thanks for reading this, if anyone did. Sorry, probably most people would think it's boring….. but I enjoyed the fair! (Except for Pharaoh's Fury… the very unsafe one.)

Yes, very yikes! I had actually been on Pharaoh's Fury before, but this time I chose I seat almost at the very end, so that I was higher and closer to being upside down than the people in the middle of the boat, where I had gone before. It seemed a lot less safe that way.
