That Moment When...

Whatever, I still think it was a terrible movie and book.

I don't kill dogs, but our neighbors tried to kill ours once. They shot him. :'(

I've seen the move Old Yeller and read the book, and I kind of liked them…it was sad when the dog got rabies. But really, if a dog has rabies, what else can you do but put him out of his misery? It's not like he was going to get better.

Don't let him get rabies. Sorta JKing. But still if I had to watch a movie or read a book it would not be that. It just ends up making me cry.

I like Old Yeller… The dog was amazing and the boy was incredibly brave and selfless. But I don't watch it. =P

Because, the thing is, though I typically only read/watch sad books/movies once…they have a much greater impact, I remember them longer, and I like them better (if they have a good message), than anything else. To make someone laugh is one thing…to make them cry is quite another.

A sad movie/book is okay, especially with a good message, like Emily said, but I'm glad all books/movies aren't sad like Where the Red Fern Grows and Old Yeller. =)

Yes! That. xD I have never watched Old Yeller though; I've only read it. I don't think I would like a movie about it, because I almost always prefer books. (Books let you come up with your own pictures of things, and if you want to cry, you can do it in your room with no one else watching the movie with you. xP Sorta jk…)

I got tricked into watching it, and I'll never watch it again. In fact, if my bothers what to see my wrong side, just let them ask to watch that… I will say no, let's watch Sound of Music. Because I'm the only one who likes it.

I watched Old Yeller quite a while back when we were visiting my grandpa in Oklahoma. So I don't remember too much about the movie. :)

I watched the movie a really long time ago and my mom didn't tell me what it was about… :P I'll probably read the book some day. I might end up watching the movie again too, because my brother hasn't seen it… Haha, I know what you mean. xD I'm fairly good at not getting caught crying over a movie though. xP

It only snowed once here, a really long time ago, and it was only enough to scratch our names in it on the driveway. xP

We get snow about once every 7 years. xP We got a big snow right before Andrew's wedding. We also 7 years before that got a snow that stayed for nearly a whole week!!! But like I said once every 7 years we'll have a snow year. xP
