Oops! I accidentally deleted my post! :( I would love to chat more often on Memverse! My name is Titus Alexander, by the way. You really should read the series!

Titus: A Comrade of the Cross
The Scarlet Pimpernel
A Tale of Two Cities
Derwood, Inc.) (And all the other Peabody books, even if I am about five years too old for them :P)

I love biographies, too! Though not any one in particular.

I've heard of the Scarlet Pimpernel, I'd like to read that and also watch the movie sometime. I think I've heard of A Tale of Two Cities. :)
I know what you mean. I still read American girl books if I find any I haven't read at the library. XD XP

Derwood Inc… facedesk I can't say whether I recommend it or not. It's good for entertainment… but don't read it too many times like my siblings did. xP xP

@Katrina B: LOL! What happened? :) If they basically turned into those characters, then no worries for us! My brother and I related to each other like Jack and Penny before we read the books, and I have some of the same struggles as Jean, so I don't think that we'll become the book characters, since we already are :).

Haha, Anna, I don't really have anything against the book. xD My three younger siblings read it so many times they practically memorized it and proceeded to tell each other stories about giant octopuses, creepy mattress stores, etc…. you get the idea. It's a funny story and I enjoyed it myself; my advice is just to enjoy it in moderation. ;P (I actually think I'm a lot like Jean too in some ways, haha.)

I've read The White Dove, and liked it, though it was a long time ago. Yeah, it is short. I think Jessica's First Prayer might be even shorter. x)

Does anybody else find it weird that Jane marries Mr. Rochester at the end of Jane Eyre? Ik his other wife died but still… he's creepy. xD

K

Yeah, it is a little weird, Hannah… I mean, he's old enough to be her father! He is a strange character in most of the book (especially at first) and some parts are pretty creepy. :P But I still liked the book. xP

Courageous is by Randy Alcorn, I know that. =P I really enjoyed all the Marguerite Henry books I read when I was younger. I actually re-read Brighty not that long ago…… =P

Wow, that's a lot, Rosie! =P But that's good! xD All those will keep me busy for quite a while after BB, since I'll be doing school and not just reading. :)

K

Is the Courageous book you're talking about the same story as the movie, or is it different? :P

948cdb340d873d9c441214756ead8f29?s=128&d=mm

Eirene

Do you like the movie or the book better? I almost always like the book better than the movie, and in the case of Courageous too, I think. :) I do like to read a book, and then watch the movie, so like with Courageous, I can imagine what they're thinking, 'cause you know they give descriptions like that in books. :)

948cdb340d873d9c441214756ead8f29?s=128&d=mm

Eirene

Yes, I have read the book Courageous, and seen the movie. Yeah, there were quite a few things that weren't in the movie that were in the book. That's partially why the book is usually better than the movie. :)

I liked the movie better, except for that David is my absolute favorite character and he's in the book a lot more than in the movie. =P

Oh, okay. Now I want to read the book, 'cause I almost always like the book better than the movie. xP I've never seen the movie though. :P

Right now I'm reading Eight Cousins by Louisa May Alcott, and am LOVING it so far! Both of my sisters have read it several times, but somehow I never did.

I just finished reading that one recently! xD I love it too. Next time we go to the library I'm going to look for it's sequel. xD

Yes! I was really excited when I saw that too. I think it's called Rose in Bloom, or The Rose in Bloom, or something like that. XD

Eight Cousins is a really good book. =) A Rose in Bloom is good just a little mushy… If you know what I mean.

wails Prince Charlie!!!! sorry

Eirene

Yeah I know what you mean about it being a little mushy, but I think I'll have to judge for myself since everybody has different tastes and opinions. xP

Don't know what you mean by wailing Prince Charlie…but maybe I might have a slight idea of what you might mean…=P

@Brianna- I always like the book usually, there are some exceptions. Also, I try to read the book before I watch the movie, it makes me less confused that way. :)

"I Heard the Owl Call My Name" by Margaret Craven, was a interesting book. It is about a Vicar who was sent to bring the Gospel to the Indians. It was not romantic at all. It had a couple "words" in it (I think it only had 3 and they were all on the same page and all said by the same person). It had some instances of taking marriage lightly. But altogether if you want to know the ins and outs of being a Indian back then, it is a pretty informative book. Would not recommend for under 13… As it had some confusing concepts.
