Wonder why they didn't want to use Mrs. McMahan's SS since she already wrote it.

Oh, do you think it will only be a passage? Do you think that we'll have to do, say, a chapter a week instead of one chapter every two weeks? One thing that I do like about this is that we have more study to do in a day.

My guess is no, or it will be really different, as Mr. Kenniv probably won't be involved this year :(

On the website, however, it says: "Each child will receive an age-appropriate Summer Study resource on one book of the Bible." On the webinar, he said that it will take more time.

We'd have to get someone who's good at composing for lots of different instruments, though. And they probably would need to know really soon because they need to plan for the Closing Ceremony a long time beforehand.

But what book would it be then? 2 John? Jude? Another minor prophet? :D

I'm still stunned that we only have six weeks! I just can't believe it… I was so planning on not having to study too intensively this summer, and now the time frame has been changed.

I want a longer book! It'll give us something to do, with only 12 passages.

I knowww… Maybe there's something we could throw together quickly though, if we didn't have someone compose new music. I don't know though.

I doubt they'll be long; they're trying to get as many people as possible to participate…. They'll save the scaring people away for Nationals. :)

Haha! Well, they won't scare me away with long passages- I like the challenge at Nationals- but you're probably right.

I know! The memorization part was smaller in the past few years than it was at the beginning, but not this small.

I put it in "Bible Bee locals" because I thought it fit better there and would be lost less easily, so in case anyone was wondering if we were participating I could refer them there or copy and paste.

If nothing else though, we'll all probably be in ultrapanic-mode and study way harder and much more than we did before… :P jk

Do you guys think that the new people might do better this year, since those of us who have been doing this for years are going to have to relearn a lot?
