Well, I don't know about anyone else, but I am getting the sword study from the McMahan's website anyway, "Apply" sections and everything. My sister and I are thinking of doing our own version of the Bible Bee with us supplying small prizes for completing the sword study and memorizing the individual passages. Since I aged out after 2014, and none of the rest of the kids are willing to put in the time to qualify for Nationals, besides that the nearest Bee would be a several hour drive to get to, this is not actually as devastating as it sounds. However, for the sake of the rest of you, I am very sorry that they are making all these changes. You have my empathy. What empathy I possess, that is, which is not significant. The Bible Bee, old guard and new, remain in my prayers, though, as far as preference goes I say with Roo (I think it was): "I like the old Bible Bee best."

I don't know…. we still have more experience with the inductive method. And if Nationals is going to be "very similar" ^hopefully^ then we'll definitely have an edge there.

We were standing right next to the stage thingie. So by the end I got it and was trying to get the other people to get it. But they weren't getting it… facepalm :P

I've noticed. :P No. :P Just looking forward to June 22… Kinda sad it doesn't start June 1. Other than we were going to be out of town anyway on June 1.

EDIT: I guess this might help them get more people. Because now people don't have to devote their entire summer. Which was one of the good things about BB… But anyway. Since people don't have to use their whole summer on it they might be more inclined to do it… shrugs

They said they were trying to release "some" of them ahead of time. I don't remember him saying anything else about it though…
