Ok I just smacked my head five times against the wall as hard as I could and didn't feel any pain. Even more strange, my head didn't feel itchy either.

May I see your source cards for that? jk I will appeal to logic and say that it would depend on a person's sensitivity, the type of bee, and the force with which the head comes in contact with the wall. xP

The pain of smacking your head depends upon the force with which the head comes in contact with the wall and the thickness of the skull. Smacking your head often will cause your skull to thicken, that's why boxers can tolerate such hard knocks. And the maximum force with which the neck muscles of your body are able to propel your head into the wall is highly likely not to be enough to cause extensive pain. Now that refers to simply smacking your head against a hard surface, sometimes called facedesking, and not running into a wall head on. A bee's sting, however, injects stinging poison into your bloodstream, causing pain for which thickness of skull avails nothing.

Lol, that may all be so, but this still seems to be on a person to person basis. You haven't given me ample evidence for your blanket statement that bee stings hurt worse. Also, the duration of the pain must also have some value in this consideration. Whereas a bee sting might hurt for a day or two, and you can get bee sting antidote ^something or other :P^ hitting your head on the wall, especially repeatedly can cause sever headaches for which Advil and Aspirin aren't nearly as effective as the bee sting stuff is. Also, you must take into consideration the fact that, while bee stings cause small welts or bumbs, banging your head on the wall can cause a lot of swelling which may result in self-consciousness and therefore hurt feelings.

Sure, running into a wall headfirst will bring on all your said symptoms and more, but simply smacking your head against the wall won't cause that, unless one has an unusually soft head or does it several hundred times, (but even so, several hundred bee stings would still be worse).

And I just heard on the news that the government (at least in one state) says you can't put a price on emotional pain.

Zachary, we are talking about 7-18 year olds. Not boxers. These kids haven't had that many knocks. And with the overabundance of information that is needed to be retained, smacking your head against the wall several hundred times isn't as far out there as you may like to have it sound. xP However, we all know that there is only one Bible Bee. Everyone knows you can't be stung by one bee hundreds of times, so that is completely beside the point. xP

Hi guys, I was looking over the rulebook tonight, and came across a part that said that national qualifiers must provide proof of birth date and us citizenship no later than two weeks after announcement of qualifiers, with the exact date to be announced at the time of the announcement of qualifiers. Have any of you heard/done anything about this?

Hi Isaac! The Bible Bee made an update to everyone's registration where now you have to enter that information as well as your proctor's drivers license ID in. If you registered all you have to do is go back to that site and click modify your registration :) You can access your registration through your family control panel :)
