I can compress it, and since it's gravatar it can automatically be compressed by URL. I'll try that and see what happens.

Wow.

Could be more, but I don't know for sure. A senior friend was 22 places away from qualifying and she was invited as an alternate. I don't know how many, if any, were invited after her. I'm guessing the number of juniors who dropped out is more than the seniors, and the primary dropouts more than the juniors, based on last year's statistics.

I just went to the bible bee website, and the list of competitors is not even loading for me. Maybe they are updating it.

The BB sent out an email @around 3:30 announcing the winners and telling some more info about Nats and the Alumni.

The official number of contestants for this year is…

114 Seniors
104 Juniors
105 Primaries.

Actually, the page currently lists 103 Juniors and 106 Primaries. But that's because for some reason, last year's Primary division winner is still listed in the Primaries. I think their automatic system is having a hard time with exceptions. :P

Well, competing around the country, yes. I don't know about actual National competitors. Let's see, looking at my records, last year there was a few more Juniors, but the year before that there was a few more Seniors. :P
